ALTHOF BERGMANN TWO HORSE PUMPER. A fine all original example of a mid-sized Althof Bergmann pull toy/bell toy. Horses are identical to the Bergmann fire pumper (Lot #3046), fireman is mounted upon a strap-style seat overlooking the horses, typical Bergmann floret on top of boiler stack and excentric rear axle causes clapper to strike bell. The black steam chest is fancily decorated with gold stenciling. SIZE: 13-1/2″. PROVENANCE: From the Collection of Malcolm Deisenroth, Jr. CONDITION: Very good plus. 1-10004 (3,500-5,500)
