MECHANICAL MAX AND MORITZ STORE WINDOW DISPLAY. Comical German figures Max and Moritz half figures with composition or papier mache heads, cloth hands standing in front of a simulated fence. Piece is electrified and when operating they alternately bob up and down. Most likely German from the 1940s. Still has European wiring, however a sophisticated adapter is included to allow operation by U.S. wiring. SIZE: Figures stand 23″ (56cm) when in most upright position. Fencing is 23″ (56cm) across and is 7″ (18cm)deep. CONDITION: Overall very good with some very minor typical wear. 1-13120 (1,000-2,000)
