THREE ARTIST DOLLS BY MARTHA THOMPSON. The boy with molded hat is supposedly one of the “McKim” twins and is a shoulder head on cloth body with porcelain arms and lower legs with molded and painted shoes. Supposedly only thirty were made of this model. Also included is one of a young girl with poke bonnet with tiny bisque flowers, lace cap underneath, and fancy molded gloves. Also included is Mrs. Thompson’s idealized depiction of an 1840s child with blonde hair with up-swept braids tied with a pink ribbon bow on the top of the head. SIZE: About 10-1/2″ (27 cm) each.
