EXTREMELY NICE JULES STEINER BEBE. Bisque head incised “A-11” and is also stamped in black “Le Parisien Bte S.G.D.G. A 11”. She has nice gray-blue paperweight eyes, well painted lashes and brows, closed mouth with full upper lip, nicely defined ears and is on wood and composition French body with straight wrists; no markings found. The antique costume is a high waisted small checked gray and blue silk with embroidered shall, antique brown leather boots and replaced brown velvet hat. The antique auburn mohair wig over cardboard Steiner pate appear to be original to the doll. SIZE: 18″ (46cm). CONDITION: Very good to excellent with some wear to the paint on the upper legs. 1-11624 (2,500-3,500)
