ELEANOR PARKE CUSTIS (American, 1896-1983) “DECORATIVE FRIEZE”. Bromide photographic print depicts a nude woman on sand dune holding a large white sheet over her head which blows in the wind. Pencil signed and titled on matte. Housed in a modern black frame with wide black liner. The back having a number of labels including exhibition label from the Smithsonian Institute (April, 1947); Boston Camera Club (1937); First Rhode Island International Salon of Photography (1937) and a YMCA Camera Club of Des Moines, Iowa (1937).
