THOMAS M. NICHOLAS (American, 1963-) GLOUCESTER HARBOR IN WINTER. Outstanding large oil on canvas winter scene of Gloucester Harbor. Two figures stand on a snow covered wharf with fishing boats moored alongside. A late afternoon sun shines beyond that wharf on harbor buildings. All under a turquoise to lavender sky. Signed lower right “T M Nicholas”. Housed in a fine arts & crafts style carved and gilt frame. SIZE: 30″ x 40″. PROVENANCE: Commissioned by Robert Slack from the artist.
