MASSACHUSETTS CHIPPENDALE TILT TOP TEA TABLE. Second half 18th century. This fine Boston example with circular hinged figured mahogany top joined to a cylindrical standard raised on a cabriole leg having tripod base with acanthus carved knees terminating in bold carved ball and claw feet. SIZE: 28-1/4″ h x 31″ d. CONDITION: Very good with dark rich mahogany color and old patina. No restoration or imperfections noted. 9-96410 (4,000-6,000)
