FOUR CAST IRON CARS. Lot includes a somewhat elusive Kenton coupe with spare tire and a cast in driver. Also includes a Kilgore and typical of Kilgore, the driver is on a spring so he wobbles a little when the car is rolled across the floor. With nickel plated iron wheels (nickeling is poor). The third vehicle appears to be by A.C. Williams is a yellow coupe with nickel plated cast iron wheels. The fourth vehicle is an early touring car reminiscent of a 1910s-20s era. Of unknown manufacture as several companies produced similar cars–possibly by Hubley. SIZE: 7″ l, 6-1/4″ l, 6″ l, and 6-3/4″ respectively. PROVENANCE: John F. Gale Collection, Cambridge, MA. CONDITION: First two vehicles are in very good original condition. Others are fair to good. 1-12408-35 (400-600)
