ROOKWOOD POTTERY PLANTER. Very nice Rookwood pottery planter is decorated with green leaves, stems and seed pods encircling the vase. Decoration is set against a dark brown standard glaze background shading to orange. Planter is finished with three applied vertically ribbed handles. Signed on the underside with Rookwood flame mark dated 1897 as well as artist initials “MN” for Mary Madeline Nourse. SIZE: 6-1/2″ t x 10″ dia. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with some crazing. 5-63819 (500-700)
