PLATFORM GOAT TOY WITH RIDER ATTRIBUTED TO FALLOWS. Malcolm and goats! Perhaps he had a pet goat as a child, and that would explain his propensity to acquire goat toys. This particular example has a goat mounted upon an embossed tin base with a jockey rider. The goat with his white beard and gray horns (restoration) and the multi-colored jockey make this a most enthralling toy. SIZE: 10″ long. PROVENANCE: From the Collection of Malcolm Deisenroth, Jr. CONDITION: Overall very fine plus. Minor re-soldering/paint touch up at goat hoofs and green base. 1-10175 (2,500-4,500)
