At some point in time, this French bebe lost her original ball jointed composition body and was placed upon a shoulderplate and kid leather fashion style body of German manufacture. However, she is quite pretty with bulbous blue paperweight eyes, pale bisque, and retains her original cork type pate and her original French blond mohair wig. Dressed in antique style clothing, this is a great opportunity for a collector or dealer to purchase a fine Jumeau, especially if they have a Jumeau body for this young lady. The kid body can be utilized on a German fashion or various other shoulderhead dolls such as early Kestners or Simon & Halbigs. SIZE: Height on shoulderplate is approximately 6″. Body measures 15″ h. CONDITION: Bisque appears to be free of any damage. Body is generally good, some loose sawdust at top. 1-9654 (2,750-4,750)
