LOT OF 2 ANTIQUE FRENCH BISQUE DOLLS. The larger of the two dolls had head incised “DEP 8” with blue glass sleep eyes, open mouth with four top teeth, lower painted lashes and silk upper lashes, enameled modeled eyebrows, on her original fully jointed French wood and composition body and original honey colored human hair wig over her composition pate. She has been well redressed and has nice leather shoes, which are most likely original. Along with a JUMEAU incised “1907 6″ with brown glass sleep eyes, painted upper and lower eyelashes and nicely painted brows, open mouth with six upper teeth, on the original French wood and composition fully jointed body. She wears a replacement brown human hair wig over cork pate and has been well redressed in a colorful floral print dress and sunhat. Shoes are white oil cloth, possibly original. SIZE: 20″ (51cm) DEP 16 1/2” (42cm) 1907. CONDITION: Overall very good, however, some repair and repaint on hands of both dolls. 1-12982 (800-1,200)
