ROOKWOOD SHIRAYAMADANI VASE. Outstanding matte finish Rookwood vase by Kataro Shirayamadani is decorated with red poppies against a background of maroon shading to yellow shading to green. Vase is finished with two handles and a raised square tack head pattern around the waist. Interior of vase is finished with a shaded blue glaze. Signed on the underside with Rookwood flame mark “XL”, “6492” and artist signed “KS”. SIZE: 7-1/8″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-63661 (1,500-1,750)
