JOHN MARIN (American, 1870-1953) ABSTRACT LANDSCAPE. Watercolor abstract scene in colors of blue, yellow, red and black. Appears to show mountains, water and trees. Signed lower right “JM 5-46″. Taped to the back of a white matte and has pencil inscriptions for matting. Back is visible and was torn from a spiral watercolor notebook. Housed in a simple wood frame with white matte. SIZE: Sight: 7-3/4″ x 9-3/4”. CONDITION: Examined out of frame. Four small flecks off paint surface. Otherwise very good. 9-93967 (10,000-15,000)
