FINE PAIR OF NEO-CLASSICAL MAHOGANY CUTLERY URNS. Last quarter 19th century, American. Each urn form turned benchmade example with urn finials in two parts. The top section fitted to the base with a square flange and collar held in place by a dowel. Each base fitted with an insert top designed to hold cutlery. Each on a square plinth raised on ogee bracket feet. SIZE: 25-3/4″ h. CONDITION: Very good overall, retaining original surfaces and fittings. Old dark patina. 9-96755 (5,000-8,000)
