EARLY STEIFF FELT CAT. A charming early 20th century Steiff feline with inset shoe button eyes. In remarkable original condition, and still retaining its Steiff button in ear. A most appealing animal. Previous owner had sewn cat to an embroidery hoop for display and remnants of newer thread is visible on underside of cat, but this is reversible and does not detract. SIZE: 4-1/2″ h. CONDITION: Overall very fine to near mint with virtually no soiling and/or moth holes to felt. Pink ribbon appears to be added at a later point in time. 1-12643 (500-1,000)
