ALL ORIGINAL BRUNO SCHIMDT “WENDY”. Unusually nice and larger than average example with head incised “2033”, “BSW” in a heart, “537”. This superlative doll has brown glass sleep eyes, closed mouth with full pouty upper lip, well painted eyelashes and brows with extra detail, as well as dimple in center chin. The fully jointed wood and composition body has fine original finish and she is dressed in a pale blue gauze pleated factory dress with wide collar, antique undergarments, socks and black oil cloth shoes. The wig is soft dark human hair, parted in center with a blue silk bow matching the dress. She comes in the remnants of the cardboard store box; lacking lid. SIZE: 17″ (43cm).
