THREE CAST IRON RACE CARS. The largest of the three is an unusual Kenton racecar with bullet nose rear end. Driver barely able to see over the windshield and the car itself is quite boxy, but somewhat typical of an early race car. The second racer is enameled in green with nickel plated wheels and is by Hubley. Car is what we think of and styled for racing with exposed vent pipes. The third is more of an early style runabout, possibly by A.C. Williams. Enameled in yellow with red spoked cast iron wheels. SIZE: Varies from 6″ to 9″ l. PROVENANCE: John F. Gale Collection, Cambridge, MA. CONDITION: First racer is probable older repaint.
