PRETTY GAULTIER FRENCH FASHION DOLL. Pale bisque socket head incised “5” with blue paperweight eyes, closed mouth with nicely highlighted lip edges, pierced ears on separate bisque shoulder plate which is mounted to an all white leather body with gussets at elbows, hips and knees, with separately stitched fingers. She wears an ivory and indigo 1880s style dress made from fine antique silk, lace and ribbon trim with attractive cloth buttons in front center. The blond mohair wig is antique and the shoes are white cloth from a later era. SIZE: 18″ (46cm). CONDITION: Overall very good with leather body especially firm and clean. 1-12086 (1,800-2,200)
