BEAUTIFUL FRENCH FASHION ATTRIBUTED TO BRU. Bisque socket head incised “EE” having closed slightly smiling mouth, tiny blue inset paperweight eyes with well defined lashes and multi-stroke eyebrows, pierced earlobes, and mounted to separate bisque shoulder plate which is in turn mounted to an all white kid body with gusset joints at the elbows, hips, and knees. She is attractively costumed in an indigo one piece walking dress consisting of pleated silk, black velvet shoulders, front panel, and front edge of skirt. In addition she has an antique blonde mohair fashion wig with center part and up-swept braids held in place with an antique ribbon band. The shoes although leather are a later replacement. However, the bonnet, matching shawl, and muff are all antique. SIZE: 16″ (42 cm). CONDITION: Leather body in fine clean condition, however she has a short hairline crack extending from rim edge in to the forehead on the right side. 1-13315 (1,200-1,800)
