OPEN MOUTH JUMEAU WALKING DOLL. Bisque socket head incised “7” and stamped in red “TETE JUMEAU”, with open mouth and six molded upper teeth, beautiful blue paperweight eyes, finely painted upper and lower lashes as well as evenly arched multi stroke eyebrows, on a French composition body with jointed elbows and wrist, and straight legs that when turned the head moves from side to side. She wears an antique brown human hair wig over heavy composition pate, and has been re-costumed in a plum colored knee length silk dress with antique lace trim and silk bonnet with cloth flowers. SIZE: 19″ (48cm). CONDITION: Condition of head is very good; some typical paint flaking on the hands, and possible repainting of the legs. 1-12646 (800-1,200)
