PETITE STEINER BEBE. Bisque socket head incised “J. STEINER Bte SGDG PARIS Fre A 3″, having blue glass eyes, closed mouth with full lips, multi-stroke eyebrows and finely painted lashes, pierced ears, on original composition Steiner body, with joints at the shoulders, elbows and hips. On the back of the torso is a paper label of a girl carrying a French flag. She has been re-costumed in a red velvet dress with lace sleeves and wears a dark human hair wig over cork pate, as well as newer black leather shoes. SIZE: 10” (25cm). CONDITION: Loss of color on nose tip; arms in proportion, but are most likely antique German replacements. 1-12980 (1,000-2,000)
