NEW ENGLAND QUEEN ANNE BIRCH AND PINE BUTTON FOOT TAVERN TABLE. Second half 18th century. The rectangular two board top with bread board ends projecting above the conforming frieze fitted with a single drawer with wood pull raised on tapered cylindrical and ring-turned legs terminating in button feet. SIZE: 27-1/2″ h x 42-1/4″ w x 26-3/4″ d. CONDITION: Top appears original to base, the underside with old crusty surface. Legs retain good length. Two legs pieced at feet. Small losses to feet.
