PAIR OF TIN LITHOGRAPHED GERMAN CARS. Cars are very similar in nature and by the same manufacturer. One is a Landau with fixed doors to the passenger compartment and the second vehicle has opening rear doors with a simulated tin top that has been folded down to reveal an open passenger compartment. Both vehicles are lithographed in red with yellow highlighting. The first vehicle has gray spoked wheels. The second vehicle has smaller wheels, but fancifully lithographed in gray, red, and yellow. SIZE: Each is 7-1/2″ l. PROVENANCE: John F. Gale Collection, Cambridge, MA. CONDITION: First vehicle is in good condition with some fading passenger compartment. Second vehicle has brighter litho and is good to very good. 1-12408-20 (850-1,250)
