LOVELY JUMEAU BEBE WITH EXCEPTIONAL CLOTHING. Pale bisque socket head with red stamp “DEPOSE TETE JUMEAU Bte S.G.D.G. 9” with lovely pale bisque, large dramatic blue eyes and well painted lashes and brows, closed mouth with delicately shaded lips, pierced ears, attached to the original fully jointed French wood and composition body with straight wrists which is stamped on the torso in blue “JUMEAU MEDAILLE D’OR PARIS”. She has her original blond mohair wig over cork pate. Maroon bead earrings, original pale green socks and pale green silk shoes which are stamped on the soles “9 PARIS DEPOSE”. The costume is maroon brocade with pale green pleated silk panels, antique lace and pale bluish green braid. Pictured in “The Encyclopedia of French Dolls, Vol. I” by Francois & Danielle Theimer.
