TIN LITHOGRAPHED LYON’S CONFECTIONERY DELIVERY TRUCK. An outstanding toy vehicle, more than likely originally filled with candy as the rear door is removable. Circa 1920s and most likely of English manufacture. Right and left sides are highly lithographed as is the rear door advertising their product. No mechanism present, nor was there ever one. SIZE: 7″ l. PROVENANCE: John F. Gale Collection, Cambridge, MA. CONDITION: Overall very good. A light cleaning would brighten this toy up. 1-12408-8 (650-950)
