CLASSICAL CARVED GILT WOOD GIRANDOLE MIRROR. The circular convex mirror plate within a reeded ebonized slip and conforming deep molded ribbon tied and beaded frame, surmounted by a carved displayed eagle perched on a bracket above a spray of gilt water leaves. The frame sides mounted with gilt leaf sprays, all above a scrolled leafy pendant terminating in a pineapple. SIZE: 41-1/4″ h x 26-1/2″ overall. CONDITION: The mirror retains original glass and pine backboard. Gilding is also original with minor losses and touch-ups. Minimal losses to carved elements.
