LOVELY ANTIQUE FRENCH FASHION HEAD AND SHOULDER PLATE. Unmarked early French fashion doll head and shoulder head with separate bisque shoulder, widely attributed to Bru. She has lovely blue paperweight eyes, closed smiling mouth, pierced earlobes, and lovely pale bisque. She is on a cloth body with bisque forearms, either an old German cloth body with bisque hands, or even possibly an old modern replacement. SIZE: 16-1/2″ (42cm). CONDITION: Bisque parts are of highest quality; excess plaster in head, so eyes possibly reset, but nevertheless eyes are original. 1-12976 (1,000-1,500)
