RARE LARGE HUBLEY DOX AIRPLANE. Without a doubt, one of the hardest and most difficult to find toy airplanes! A most intriguing toy with a multitude (six) of simulated engines atop the wing and dual tailfins, it is hard to imagine that this plane really flew and existed in real life. Brightly enameled robin egg blue body is accompanied by a red ribbed wing and nickel plated tires. SIZE: 7-1/2” wingspan. CONDITION: Overall very fine and upon close inspection two faint hairline cracks are visible on fuselage behind wheel assembly. JL 1-6893 (3,500-5,500)
