GILDED FULL-BODIED ROOSTER WEATHERVANE. Late 19th century. Attributed to E. G. Washburne & Co, New York. With sheet metal comb and wattle and with pressed sheet metal tail, the nice gilded example mounted on a cast zinc and sheet metal arrow. Offered with museum stand. SIZE: Vane: 26″ h x 30″ l. Overall: 28″ h. CONDITION: Very good overall with nice gilded surfaces and areas of verdigris. No restoration noted. 9-22832 (2,250-2,500)
