PAIR UNMARKED FRENCH FASHION DOLLS ATTRIBUTED TO GAULTIER. Pale bisque socket heads with lovely blue threaded paperweight eyes, closed smiling mouth, pierced earlobes, heads incised “2”, mounted on separate bisque shoulder plate which is attached to a cloth body with brown leather forearms, with separately stitched fingers. There is a sewn joint at the hip and at the knee. They wear their original honey colored mohair wigs over cork pates, and antique navy blue wool dresses, white cotton stockings, and brown leather antique shoes with heels and buckles. SIZE: 14″ (35cm). CONDITION: One doll is very good.
