SIMON & HALBIG ASIAN CHILD DOLL. Olive tinted bisque head incised “Simon & Halbig Germany 1329 6”. Doll has brown glass sleepeyes in almond shaped eye cuts, open mouth with four upper teeth, large ears with pierced lobes on original light brown painted, fully jointed wood and composition body. She wears an authentic Japanese style costume with black mohair wig. Costume; although old and commercially made is most likely from a doll of a slightly later vintage. SIZE: 15″ (38cm). CONDITION: Very good. Slight typical wear and crazing to the body. 1-11605 (700-900)
