TANG OR SUNG DYNASTY STYLE RECUMBENT JADE HORSE. In two-toned jade, the horse posed with forelegs bent, a “spirit figure” mounted on the back of the horse. The horse is similar in form and color to one illustrated in Jade by Roger Keverne p 122, figure 26. SIZE: 1-3/4″ h x 3-3/4″ l. CONDITION: Very good with undisturbed patina. 9-24889 (800-1,200)
