LARGE WATER TROW BY GEORGE BROWN. Most unusual, not only in size but in form as well, with only a few known examples. A unique and interesting form, the trow was actually constructed of two buckets soldered together (see Plate number 27 in George Brown Toy Sketchbook). Oftentimes toy manufacturers altered or converted other toy pieces and/or parts to create something new and different. Wire armature employed as a framework (2 minor and older amateur resolder points under carriage). SIZE: 14″ l. PROVENANCE: From the Collection of Malcolm Deisenroth, Jr. CONDITION: Overall very good to fine original condition. 1-10036 (3,500-5,500)
