22″ BRU Jne10 ON CHEVROT BODY. An elegant example of a later Bru Jne on a chevrot body with paper label intact on chest. Wooden lower legs and flawless bisque lower arms. Adding to the charm of this gal that is perhaps wearing her original dress and satin hat she has blue paperweight eyes and her original blond mohair wig, antique Bru style leather shoes but only marked with a “9”. Back of head is marked “Bru Jne10”, shoulder plate is marked “Bru Jne8″. This is absolutely correct as often times later Bru Jne’s have mismatched numbers. This doll has clearly never been taken apart and is factory original in regards to head and shoulder plate. Bisque is uniform, pale and flawless and she has quite an overall stature. SIZE: 22”. CONDITION: Dress shows some frailty and fraying most noticeably at bottom. 1-9635 (7,500-9,500)
