PAIR OF GERMAN PAPIER MACHE CLOWNS. Papier mache socket heads with molded and painted features on papier mache bodies jointed at wrists, shoulders and hips. Both wearing original factory costumes depicting clowns and faces painted on the sun etc. One has blue felt slippers and the other wears oil cloth shoes. SIZE: 15″ (39cm) each. CONDITION: Both are very good; slight surface dust; one doll needs hand restrung and is probably missing the red yarn pompom on top of head. 1-11788 (900-1,200)
