KESTNER HILDA TODDLER. Very nice example incised “H. Made in Germany. 12. 245. J.D.K. 1914. HILDA”, with blue glass sleep eyes, wide open mouth with two upper teeth and separately molded tongue, on the original fully jointed wooden composition toddler body with diagonal hip joints, with fine original paint. She wears an antique pleated cotton and lace dress with wide collar, antique brown leather shoes, and a replacement blonde mohair wig over the original plaster pate. SIZE: 16″ (41cm). CONDITION: Overall very good, with slight loss of color to the tip of the nose. 1-12648 (2,000-2,500)
