“WHOA, DAR CAESER” BELL TOY & ROCKING TOY. Both toys attributed to Ives, Blakeslee & Williams Co. Typical of the Ives’ fashion, a high quality and ingenious toy of a black gentleman riding atop a mule. When rolled along the floor, the mule bucks and the bell rings. Accompanying this rare bell toy is a “penny toy” of similar fashion. This features the black gentleman riding the mule on a rocker platform. Both have a japanned finish. SIZE: 5 1/2” & 3” respectively. CONDITION: In fine original condition, some wear to japanning on both toys.
