1939 SYNCHRO ROCKET GAS POWERED RACER. Powered by an extremely rare Synchro Rocket Super Ace gas ignition engine, this car was owned and restored by Dr. Theodore Dutra, who took it to near scale levels. The wire wheels are hand-strung and the fit and finish details are extraordinary. The transmission lever is the ignition switch and lights the small lamp on the dash as well as brings up power for the engine. Enameled in white with “Gilmore Oil Co. Ltd” and “41” on the sides.
