LOT OF THREE EARLY TOY PISTOLS. (1) A cork or dart gun, made of wood, 5-1/2” overall length, marked on the left grip “YOUNG SPORTSMAN”. It is spring operated with a brass spring catch. It has a bore diameter of about 1/2” with a brass ferrule around the muzzle. CONDITION: Couple of hairlines at the muzzle, otherwise retains about 80% original finish. Seems to function. (2) The Sharpshooter rubber band pistol. It is blue finish with wood grip panels, in its original box with two tubes of bull’s eye shot, a small spinner target and loading device. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Retains most of its original finish. Target is fine. Box is extremely fine. (3) The Sharpshooter rubber band pistol. It is nickel finish with yellow celluloid grips in an original box with an instruction paper, nine crystallized original rubber bands and three spring-like devices. CONDITION: Very fine plus. Retains most of its original nickel. Fine grips. Box has a break in the bottom and the top is wrinkled and has been taped. 4-53175 JR530 (200-400)
