AFTER PIETER DE HOOCH (Dutch, 1629-1684) INTERIOR WITH FIGURES. Oil on cradled panel shows an interior scene with two women and a child and a dog on a checkerboard floor. The woman appears to be giving a lesson. There is a label on reverse indicating that it was part of an art touring exhibit 7/12/33. Housed in a wood frame with velvet and gold liner. SIZE: 20” x 16-1/4”. CONDITION: Restored with inpainting. Good. 9-71552 (1,000-1,500)
