ALBERT PELS (American, 1910-1998) THE IRONING LESSON. Oil on canvas scene shows a mother and daughter practicing ironing. Both dressed in blue and white dresses and have auburn hair. Mother holds the young girls arm as she irons a piece of cloth. Very nicely done and colorful. Signed lower middle “Pels” and “#196” to back of canvas. Housed in a wood molded frame with white inner liner. SIZE: 24” x 20”. CONDITION: One patch to back of canvas, very good. 9-29396 (800-1200)
