CARVED CIVIL WAR CANE. 32-1/2” cane with shaft relief carved w/24 star, 13 stripe flag near the top. Incised areas below this include a U.S. buckle, canteen containing “1861 / :65:”, a shield containing the letters “U.V.L”, and a rosette engraved “S.D.V”. The raised carved instruments appear to be mostly Army Corps. insignia and include stars, diamonds, Maltese cross, triangle, star & moon, arrow, shields, acorn, four leaf clover, anchors, etc. CONDITION: Fine. Possibly revarnished but no wear is visible. 4-54496 FS41 (400-600)
