FULL NICKEL ENGRAVED REMINGTON MAGAZINE PISTOL WITH DISPLAY CASE. Cal. 32 RF Extra short. NSN. Rider’s Patent, nickel finish, 5-3/4” bbl, 5-shot magazine, spur trigger pistol. Factory engraved on frame & backstrap. Crisp bbl marking. Standard walnut grip. Accompanied by a 20” x 19” velvet lined display case containing two orig boxes of 32 extra short ammunition, each containing six cartridges, two samples of the cartridges mounted on a copy of the 1877 Remington catalogue page. CONDITION: Fine. Bbl and magazine tube retain most of a restored nickel finish with frame retaining virtually all of its orig finish. Grips are also restored with bright varnish finish. Hammer retains about all of a bright niter blue. Mechanics are crisp, brilliant shiny bore. Display case, made by consignor is unique and in extremely fine condition. 4-59319 JH18 (3,000-5,000)
