*REMINGTON MODEL 1903 A3 MILITARY RIFLE. Cal. 30-06. SN 3880444. Standard 03A3 with “RA/6-43” dated bbl and straight stock with “FJA” and “RRA” cartouches on the left wrist, a “P” in a square stock cartouche with the number “463” stamped above the buttplate tang. It has checkered steel buttplate with trap and it has a 2-groove bbl. Accompanied by original Red River Arsenal DD form 1149-3 dated “23 December, 1960” shipping this rifle to Mr. Owens. Also accompanied by a WWII issue Pal short bayonet with original fiberglass sheath. CONDITION: Extremely fine, pristine new. Wood may have been sanded and re-oiled at the arsenal. Metal retains virtually all of its fine gray-green parkerized finish. Crisp mechanics, brilliant shiny bore. Bayonet is equally new. 4-52761 JR458 (500-1,000)
