VICTORIAN BASKET HILT SWORD. 31-1/2” dbl fuller blade, etched “NICHOLLS / & HUNTER / 8 Jermyn St / London” on the left side of the blade. An unidentified crest is on the right side of the blade. CONDITION: Gray/brown patina with light surface rust overall. One branch at the hilt is cracked at the rear; otherwise good. Wire wrap on the grip has been replaced.
