HANDEL JUNGLE BIRD TABLE LAMP. Spectacular reverse painted shade depicts two finely detailed macaws resting on branches with one in flight against a lush tropical background in beautiful hues of blue, green, purple and yellow with the jungle flora being painted in pinks and purples. The colors used in this shade represent every color in the rainbow and the shade is minutely detailed throughout. The shade is supported by a bronze metal base in the form of a Japanese baluster vase molded with birds and blossoms in relief. The foot of the base is molded to simulated a Teak carved and pierced stand. Shade is signed on the interior “Handel 6874” as well as artist signed “Palme”. Base is signed on the underside “*Handel*”. SIZE: Shade is 18″ dia. Overall 24″ t. PROVENANCE: From the Estate of Geraldine Gaba, Scottsdale, AZ.
