E.A. PRESCOTT NAVY MODEL REVOLVER. Cal. 38 RF. SN 180. Blued & silver finish with 7-1/4” bbl, silver blade front sight, 2-pc rosewood grips with “G.S. RICHARDSON” stamped on buttstrap. Accompanying the revolver is a file of G.S. Richardson names extracted from National Archives compiled by the consignor. Not sure if any of the files refer to this G.S. Richardson. CONDITION: Good. Metal parts have been refinished with careful polishing to avoid loss of markings. Bore is lightly pitted in grooves, otherwise very good. Mechanically fine. 4-59312 JH49 (1,000-1,500)
