RARE ANIMATED SAMBO CAP GUN. Manufactured by Ives in the 1880s this extremely well detailed cap gun depicting two black gentlemen of the time period. When the trigger is pulled, one fellow flips head over heels banging into the other black gentleman’s head and exploding the cap. In exceptional condition, the Japanning is 95% intact with little apparent use, probably due to the fact that the main spring causing this action to occur is broken. SIZE: 6”. CONDITION: Extremely fine original, main activation spring broken. 1-6913 (2,000-3,000)
