TOPLITZ PERCUSSION JAEGER. NSN. 60 Cal. 24-1/2” swamped oct bbl. There are two sunken cartouches at the rear of the bbl. Both missing their gold. One appears to have a stag head over TOPLITZ, the other has a running stag. There are also five acorn poincons, usually indicative of Suhl or Thuringen guns. There are no markings on the lock. The dovetail blade front sight is broken. The folding blade rear side is bent. The tang sight is missing the windage bar and peep. Double set trigger. CONDITION: Covered with a mixture of rust and grease. The stock has numerous dents and scratches. Mechanically needs work on both the lock and the set triggers. Wm.
